In the Western World we discard and abandon things that would be repaired, re-purposed or recycled elsewhere.
In those "elsewhere" places even people and children can be found discarded, cast unto the streets if they have no family to support and nurture them.
Poverty can be found in most places. Hope can only be found in some places. Opportunity and hope exist in fewer places.
